On May 16th, the inaugurating meeting of Yangtze River Delta Transportation Culture Promotion Alliance was successfully held at the China Maritime Museum. It was initiated by 14 transportation-related units from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces, and supported by the transportation authorities of the four regions.

The meeting clarified the annual cultural cooperation projects, including three major series with ten sub-projects: the first Yangtze River Delta Cultural Innovation Competition in 2025, Yangtze River Delta Transportation Culture Series Lectures and Yangtze River Delta Green Shipping Culture Tour. It also announced 2026 rotating chair unit of the alliance.

The secretariat of the alliance is located at the China Maritime Museum. It will coordinate and promote transportation cultural innovation, event organization, achievement exhibitions, resource sharing, and brand promotion across the three provinces and one municipality in the future.
