In April, “Ships of China: A Special Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Ship Culture”, created by the China Maritime Museum, was officially published.

It compiles high-quality images of key exhibits from the namesake exhibition as well as the latest research findings by relevant scholars. Centered on three major themes—“Origin of Ships, Voyages around the World, and a Carrier of Culture”—it presents the origin and evolution of ancient Chinese ship culture, maritime technology, and maritime cultural exchanges, further extending the vitality of the exhibition.
