On July 10^th, 2024 China Maritime Day Maritime Culture Forum was held in Tianjin. Focusing on exploring the connotation and significance of maritime culture in the new era, the forum aimed to further leverage the role of maritime culture and promote extensive exchange and sustainable development of maritime culture. Jointly organized by China Maritime Association, the People’s Government of Binhai New Area of Tianjin, the China Ports & Harbors Association, and Tianjin Port (Group) Co., Ltd., it was co-hosted by the Maritime History and Culture Research Committee of the China Maritime Association, China Maritime Museum, and Tianjin National Maritime Museum.

Experts and scholars delivered keynote speeches and participated in roundtable discussions on topics such as "the 20th China Maritime Day", "The Heritage and Development of Chinese Maritime Culture". During the forum, China Maritime Museum also released the “National Maritime Culture Resources Survey” project.
