From May 18th to June 1st, in combination with International Museum Day, China Maritime Museum launched "Blue Culture, Ocean Science and Technology Innovation" Festival.

During the festival, the "Sea and Cloud Sails" AR Metaverse project was open to the public for testing. Visitors, led by the virtual IP "Zheng He," were able to enter the Ocean Zone and other permanent exhibitions and featured exhibits at China Maritime Museum to get in close touch with maritime history, figures, creatures, and geographical information. The museum also created a scene of "Marine Science and Technology Innovation Show" on its abundant marine and oceanographic elements and attracted visitors to stop and take memorable photos.

Besides，China Maritime Museum also launched the activity of "Enjoy the Ship Season，Face-to-Face with Oceanographic Research Vessels" outside the museum, leading teenagers to board the "Songhang" oceanographic research vessel to explore the spirit of oceanographic research firsthand.
