In order to attract more audience to experience Chinese dragon culture in museum, on January 26th, China Maritime Museum launched “Dragon Flies to the Sea: Spring Exhibition Celebrating the Year of the Dragon”. With its unique appearance and lucky meaning, the image of Chinese dragon is widely used in Chinese arts and crafts. China Maritime Museum explored the “dragon” element in its collection to express blessings for the Year of Dragon. During the Spring Festival, China Maritime Museum also carried out “Seeking Dragon in CMM” activities to entertain the audience in holiday.
