On August 23th, under the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, China Maritime Museum launched the new exhibition “Echoing Tides-Exploring Navigation & Ships in Classical Poems”, which was in collaboration with the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Art Education Center and Wenbo Oriental of Shanghai Media Group.

The exhibition focused on 100 Chinese ancient poems, 100 maritime knowledge sections, and 100 recitation videos, etc. Through five sections, namely, Appeal of Nature, Affinity of Human & Sea, Affection at Departure, Ambition of Sailing, and Advancer of Technology, it showcased the poetic traces of maritime exploration over the centuries and led the audience to experience the rich maritime culture.
