On March 29th, the original exhibition “World Maritime Quincentenary: A Special Exhibition of Maritime Relics in the 15th-19th Century” from China Maritime Museum was on display at the Opium War Museum and the exhibition “Breaking through Strong Winds and Heavy Waves: World Maritime Quincentenary” officially opened. The exhibition displays over 300 pieces/sets of high-quality maritime relics from over 20 countries on five continents. Divided into four parts, namely “technology, war, trade, and art”, the exhibition demonstrates the magnificent world maritime history from the 15th to 19th century.
