On February 27th, the exhibition “Maritime Civilization Exchange of Korea and China” and “A Digital Exhibition of Fine Chinese Maritime Relics” in CMM was awarded “Quality Exhibition from Shanghai Museums in 2022”.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 2022, the Maritime Civilization Exchange of Korea and China was jointly hosted by China Maritime Museum and Korea National Maritime Museum. A total of 158 pieces/sets of cultural relics and specimens from 13 museums are displayed. The exhibition tells the story of political, economic, and cultural exchanges linked by sea for thousands of years in the past. It expresses the profound friendship between two countries, and promotes friendly exchanges in the
future.
