China Maritime Museum hosted the 2022 Congress of Committee of China Maritime Museums (CCMM) online and the seminar on the Power of Maritime Museums on Dec. 20th. More than 140 participants attended online, including the presidents or representatives of the member museums from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shandong, Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, etc. as well as the honored guests from National Maritime Museum of China, China Grand Canal Museum, Yellow River Museum, Zhongshan Museum and Wenzhou Museum.

Liu Shuguang, the president of the China Association of Museums, delivered an important speech on the occasion of congress. Meanwhile, Kristen Greenaway, the Vice-President of the International Congress of Maritime Museums, Chen Libi, the chief president of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, and Xue Qishan, the president of the Macao Maritime Museum, delivered video speeches. The congress summarized the work of CCMM in 2022, and made plans and prospects for the CCMM development in 2023.
