The Alliance of Zheng He Cultural Venues was established in China Maritime Museum on Nov. 30th, which was co-sponsored by Fujian Museum, Yunnan Provincial Museum, China Port Museum, China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea and Guangzhou Maritime Museum. The Alliance aims to integrate relevant resources of Zheng He to promote Zheng He culture and Chinese culture to the world.

The Alliance of Zheng He Cultural Venues will strengthen the research, protection, display and publicity of Zheng He’s relevant relics resources, major archaeological achievements, excellent national cultural heritage, etc., to enhance the dissemination and influence of Chinese civilization and to present a credible, adorable and respectable image of China. The conference officially released the Shanghai Declaration on “Promoting Zheng He Culture and Undertaking the Mission of the Times”, calling on the whole society to protect, inherit and promote Zheng He Culture. China Maritime Museum will work with member institutions to prepare the xhibition on the 620th anniversary of Zheng He’s voyage, a series of related lectures and a three-year collection plan for related cultural relics in 2023.
