A Special Exhibition on Cultural Relics of Tek Sing shipwreck was held in China Maritime Museum on August 24, 2021. The exhibition was jointly organized by China Maritime Museum, Dehua Ceramics Museum and Panlu Group, revealing the past and present stories of the Tek Sing shipwreck, and displaying the flourish trades on the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
Known as the oriental “Titanic”, the Tek Sing is a shipwreck with the most complete cultural relics. The exhibition, based on the theme of Tek Sing shipwreck in China, displays more than 400 pieces of porcelain, such as white glaze, greenish brown glaze and so on. The exhibits include more than 10 kinds of bowls, plates, cups, etc. The exhibition which will last until January 2022 presents overall aspects of the porcelain produced in Dehua Kiln from Tek Sing shipwreck.
