On October 20th, the China Maritime Museum and the Hong Kong Maritime Museum signed Cooperation MOU.
With “complementarity of advantages, shared resources and cooperative exchanges” as the common development goal, each museum bases itself upon the characteristics of its collection so that deepened exchanges and cooperation between the two sides can be carried out, with the aim of promoting inter-museum integration and collaborative development, in areas such as academic exchanges, exhibition cooperation, social education collaboration, complementary cultural and creative product development. Both museums actively participate in the Shanghai-Hong Kong cooperation mechanism with the strength of museums to support the construction of the soft power of Shanghai as an international shipping center and further enhance the international dissemination and influence of shipping culture.
