On May 16th, the museum unveiled “The Human: Immersive Exhibition of Chinese Marine Mythology” and “The Story of Shipbuilding in the Ming Dynasty: A Youth Experience Exhibition”, presenting visitors with a magnificent feast of maritime culture through visual elements and interactive experience.
The exhibition “The Human: Immersive Exhibition of Chinese Marine Mythology” explores the marine genes of the Chinese nation from multiple dimensions, inherits the spirit of the Chinese nation in various forms, spreads the Chinese maritime civilization from multiple perspectives, and stimulates the public’s imagination and creativity at multiple levels through a variety of rich forms, such as cultural relics, model landscapes, video projections and interactive installations.
The exhibition “The Story of Shipbuilding in the Ming Dynasty: A Youth Experience Exhibition” takes the real historical figure Li Zhaoxiang and his work “Longjiang Shipyard Records”. Through semi-fictional plots and vivid and interesting comic forms, it leads the audience to travel through time and space to explore the exquisite shipbuilding skills and management wisdom of the Ming Dynasty.
