China Maritime Museum (CMM) and Shanghai Museum jointly launched an online publicity campaign about“The Sea is over there: the Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Navigational Relics” from February 1st to 4th, 2021. With the posters about exquisite cultural relics as the carrier, three questions were designed on the Weibo of CMM and Shanghai Museum, based on three pieces of porcelain on display provided by the Shanghai Museum. The campaign set up an automatic lottery and presented packages of cultural and creative products, attracting netizens to actively participate in discussions on topics such as“The Sea is over there.” and “Seeking Treasures in Shanghai Museum.” In addition, the number of followers on the official Weibo of CMM increased by 1,000, and people’s attention to CMM has been greatly increased.
