The Maritime Civilization Exchange of Korea and China was jointly hosted by China Maritime Museum and Korea National Maritime Museum. The exhibition was opened at the Korea National Maritime Museum on September 6, 2022. The Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the ROK, Xing Haiming, delivered a congratulatory speech in the form of video. There are 184 pieces of exhibits in the exhibition, covering ship models, ceramics, paintings, handicrafts and other categories. China Maritime Museum attaches great importance to the exhibition, and selects 27 pieces of collections to be exhibited in South Korea.

The year of 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the ROK. In order to commemorate the event, the exhibition demonstrates the economic and cultural friendly exchanges by sea between China and the ROK, so as to build a cultural relics exhibition brand of “Chinese stories, international expression”.

The exhibition will last until November 6, 2022.
